Pastor Dr. Abera Habte, born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1988, went to England and started his life. In 1989, he became a born-again Christian at the Billy Graham Crusade in London; from 1991 to 1993, he studied at IBIOL Kensington Temple. In 1993 he married Beletu Hailmariam and later became Pastor Beletu Habte. From 1994 to 1999, he studied at ELIM Bible College, and from 1999 to 2005, he served as the leader of the Evangelism and Church Planting Department at Ethiopian Christians Fellowship Church in London, United Kingdom. During this time, the Lord used him to help Ethiopians to start a church in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Stoke on Trent, and London. In 2006, with his wife, he started the New Testament Mann ministry, and in 2007 they launched the first Christian television programme for Ethiopians from London, England. In 2011 they launched the first Ethiopian 24/7 Christian channel called Elshaddai Television Network.
Since 2007, Pastor Abera Habte has been doing Israel tours for Ethiopian Evangelical believers and yearly Israel conferences in Ethiopia and translated three books about Israel.
2014 Pastor Abera Habte received his honorary doctorate.
2019 launched the Gospel for Northern Ethiopia movement.
